About the role

  • Execute and achieve all sales and margin operating plans.
  • Sell the full range of GE Appliances Air & Water products to new and existing hospitality customers.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers to identify and generate new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to grow sales in the hospitality industry.
  • Develop strong relationships with national account customers and effectively source and close new accounts to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Implement a proactive call schedule to drive sales growth and productivity through consistent outbound calling and customer engagement.
  • Analyze competitor information and trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Set up customer accounts and support customers with service and post-sales issues as needed.
  • Leverage digital tools to improve sales effectiveness and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide customer maintenance and support, including training on product features and functionality.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of sales experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel (10-15%)
  • Experience in appliance sales or the hospitality industry
  • Background in developing and executing sales plans that support business objectives
  • Strong ability to build and sustain customer relationships
  • Proven negotiating skills and a record of driving results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and driven to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple levels of management and teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous phone-based sales experience.
