About the role
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the digital media market, including competitor performance, client spending trends, and emerging technologies
- Conduct robust experiment analyses (e.g. A/B and multivariate tests) to evaluate the impact of product changes, generate actionable insights, and guide data-informed decision-making
- Develop and maintain sophisticated models to forecast revenue, track market share, and analyse the profitability of different business lines, with a particular focus on incrementality
- Proactively identify and evaluate opportunities for new products, services, and pricing models
- Analyse the entire revenue ecosystem to provide strategic recommendations on inventory management and yield optimization across all platforms
- Partner with commercial leadership to define the annual strategic plan
Requirements
- Significant experience in a strategic or commercial analyst role within the digital media, advertising, or technology sectors
- Proven ability to translate complex data into high-impact business strategy
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Excel for data manipulation and modelling
- Experience using BI and visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) to create compelling reports and dashboards for an executive audience
- Demonstrable track record of providing data-driven recommendations that have directly influenced business decisions, revenue growth, or strategic direction
- Ability to tell a persuasive story with data and articulate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management
- A strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic advertising, branded content, and emerging monetisation trends.
