About the role
- Developing technical solutions including scheduling and technical planning of security systems (video systems, access control, intrusion detection systems, fire alarm systems, control room/command center systems, etc.)
- Project planning and overall project management responsibility
- Engineering of complex central units and clarification of system interfaces
- Coordinating technician deployments and supporting installation, setup, commissioning and acceptance testing
- Selection of suppliers and subcontractors
- Planning of maintenance assignments
- Participation in product selection
- Customer consultation regarding the software and hardware portfolio
- Sales support during customer meetings
Requirements
- Technical education, ideally a technician qualification in IT, communications or electrical engineering
- Project management and project planning skills
- Practical experience with security technology, electrotechnical systems or IT systems
- Enjoys working with customers (customer-facing experience)
- Hands-on skills and broad technical interest with a willingness to learn
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
- Relevant industry experience is a plus
- Ideally VdS certification for one or more trades
- Valid car driver's license is required
- Business-fluent German language skills
- Confident user of MS Office, es2000 and CAD systems
