About the role
- Analyze and evaluate requirement documents from public tenders
- Derive, document, and maintain functional and technical requirements together with the client
- Create and maintain Gherkin-based test scenarios (BDD)
- Organize and execute manual and automated software tests
- Moderate acceptance tests and perform error analysis (first-level support)
- Support test automation (e.g., using Cucumber with Python or TypeScript)
- Coordinate with development teams to implement test scenarios
- Drive test automation initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in software testing (manual and ideally automated)
- Knowledge of Gherkin and BDD methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Python or TypeScript
- Experience with tools such as Cucumber
- Strong knowledge of requirements management
- Structured working style and analytical thinking
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
- Desirable: ISTQB certification, experience with agile methodologies, and basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and test automation concepts
