About the role

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a PeopleOps team of up to five members
  • Own and deliver high-priority PeopleOps projects (compensation frameworks, EOR transitions, compliance rollouts, HRIS optimization, etc.)
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on global mobility, immigration, and compliance
  • Partner with business leaders, finance, and legal on complex cross-border employment and contractor conversions
  • Build scalable processes, policies, and tools to support rapid company growth
  • Anticipate compliance risks and proactively design mitigation plans
  • Drive continuous improvement in employee experience, data accuracy, and process efficiency
  • Be a hands-on problem solver: comfortable diving into details and navigating ambiguity in a high-growth startup environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in PeopleOps / HR, with at least 1+ year in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing PeopleOps/HR teams in fast-growing startups or scale-ups
  • Deep expertise in global mobility, relocation, immigration, and compliance in Europe
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border employment structures (entities, EOR, contractors, and conversions)
  • Track record of successfully leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects under tight timelines
  • Highly adaptive, thrives in changing environments, able to pivot priorities while keeping execution strong
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones
  • Fluent in Russian and English.
