About the role
- Prospect and generate leads via cold calls, networking, referrals, and online outreach
- Educate business owners on payment processing, POS systems, and cash discount programs
- Provide savings analysis and custom-tailored merchant solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Maintain relationships with clients to ensure retention and residual growth
- Track activity and pipeline in CRM
Requirements
- Prior sales experience in merchant services, financial services, or B2B sales (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently
- Comfortable in a commission-only environment with uncapped earnings
- Access to phone, computer, and reliable internet
