About the role
- Strategic and operational management of own top accounts for the spice product category (branded and private label), as well as leading and developing a team as Group Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in Sales / Foodservice
- Personal management as well as acquisition and expansion of all customers from the assigned retail headquarters by leading and taking responsibility for negotiations on prices, terms and conditions
- Planning, controlling and analysis, e.g. by carrying out budget planning and sales forecasting, customer management, and deriving relevant KPIs
- Continuous analysis of competitors' positions and assortments and deriving concrete recommendations for action by monitoring and optimizing listings and developing new business
- Development of customer-specific annual targets as well as strategies and action plans by conducting regional annual review meetings
Requirements
- Degree in economics or business administration (e.g., Economics, Business Administration) or comparable vocational training, e.g., as an industrial clerk (m/f/d)
- Practical experience and proven success in Key Account Management / Sales for branded or private label FMCG products with a focus on German retail headquarters, e.g., as Senior Key Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, etc. (m/f/d)
- Experience in negotiation and closing annual review meetings, as well as detailed knowledge of customer-side structures and decision-making processes
- Good understanding of market research results and the ability to translate them into customer-facing arguments
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, for communication with customers
