About the role
- Partner with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to define metrics and identify areas for analytical impact.
- Support dataset design and experiment setup in collaboration with statisticians.
- Contribute to analytics standards, documentation, and data mining methodologies.
- Identify linkages across data sources and propose creative new data combinations.
- Research analytical tools, technologies, and data sources to recommend enhancements.
- Support data collection efforts and ongoing data quality improvement initiatives.
- Build predictive models and algorithms to address targeted business problems.
- Analyze large datasets to surface trends and actionable insights.
- Develop visualizations that communicate analytical findings effectively.
- Assist in the development of reusable tools, libraries, and automation.
- Participate in testing, model validation, and change-control processes.
- Partner with engineering and database teams to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience using quantitative methods to solve analytical problems
- Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience working with large datasets and statistical modeling techniques
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
