About the role
- The main responsibility is taking over the development of our Web 3D offering and supporting the development of the associated backend components
- The frontend uses Preact with TypeScript and an OpenGL renderer written in C++
- The backend uses a Python server to handle tasks such as providing data, metadata, and authentication
- As both sides are closely linked, development work will involve substantial tasks on both the frontend and backend
Requirements
- Very good C++ programming skills
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript and Preact
- Basic knowledge of Python and FastAPI
- Solid knowledge of mathematics and linear algebra
- Good English skills
- Precise, responsible, and independent work style
- Experience with 3D rendering
- Experience with the Qt framework and OpenCV is an advantage
