About the role

  • Project management for the modernization of core commercial/finance processes and end-to-end process harmonization, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA
  • Ongoing coordination of cross-departmental year-end closing processes, including rolling scheduling, quality assurance and process optimization
  • Audit management for external auditors, including commissioning and coordination of audit-related reconciliations with executive management
  • Act as a sparring partner to departmental and divisional leadership on the further development of the finance architecture and organization-wide accounting processes
  • Handling finance-strategic and accounting-related fundamental issues and advising executive committees

Requirements

  • Degree in economics (Master or equivalent), ideally with a focus on accounting, finance or auditing
  • Several years of professional experience in external audit or in a central role within finance and accounting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of preparing and auditing quarterly and annual financial statements and accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Proven experience in project management, process modernization, facilitation and reconciling stakeholder interests
  • Ability to structure complex issues clearly and to communicate persuasively at leadership and committee levels
