About the role

  • Visit customer sites, both on and offshore
  • Deliver installation, commissioning and general service related tasks on OEM equipment
  • Conduct job walk down for critical jobs prior to the start-up of the service
  • Validate that quotations prepared by commercial are technically sound
  • Provide comprehensive, written daily activity reports
  • Ensure job-related documents are completed in a timely manner
  • Direct interface with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • Provide timely response to enquiries for information
  • Support FS Supervisor and Coordinator by providing adequate information on work progress
  • Ensure quick invoicing and collection of receivables
  • Promote a safe working environment and comply with safety regulations

Requirements

  • Qualified as a mechanical engineering apprentice
  • Good fitting and mechanical skills
  • Familiar with the alignment of small, single stage pumping packages
  • Knowledge of pumps and mechanical seals
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
  • Experience in the chemical, power, and/or oil and gas industries
  • Proficient in using a PC and related software packages
  • Able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Capable of remaining calm under pressure
  • Communicate effectively in English and Italian.
