About the role

  • Design, implement and manage Azure network infrastructures
  • Build, operate and enhance VNet architectures, routing, subnetting, NSGs, peering and UDRs
  • Configure and maintain VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, hybrid connectivity and hub-and-spoke architectures
  • Administer Azure Firewall, Application Gateway (WAF), Load Balancer and Azure DNS
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules (Terraform, Bicep)
  • Automate deployments and integrate into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Ensure compliance, security, governance and documentation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex network and performance issues
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps teams and security experts

Requirements

  • Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in networking and infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and/or Azure Bicep
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD processes and modern cloud security concepts
  • Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI is a plus
  • Understanding of zero-trust, segmentation and cloud security principles
  • Analytical mindset, structured working style and a team-oriented approach
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Certifications such as AZ-700, AZ-104, AZ-305 or CCNA/CCNP are a plus
