About the role
- Manage a high-volume book of accounts across Fleetio’s lower mid-market segment.
- Proactively contact every renewing customer to ensure a timely and positive renewal experience.
- Conduct efficient discovery conversations to identify expansion potential within renewing accounts.
- When growth opportunities are uncovered, qualify and pass leads to Mid-Market Account Managers with detailed notes and context to enable successful expansion.
- For customers with limited expansion potential, execute renewals quickly, efficiently, and with minimal friction.
- Achieve and exceed renewal rate targets (NRR) while ensuring smooth customer transitions at renewal.
- Collaborate with Mid-Market Account Managers, Customer Success, and Support teams to maximize customer satisfaction and value.
- Operate with speed and precision in managing renewals, leveraging tools and processes to handle high-volume workflows effectively.
- Act as the first line of strategic engagement for many customers, setting the stage for deeper partnership growth.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, renewals, expansion sales, or sales development at a SaaS company.
- Proven ability to manage a large volume of accounts simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience conducting quick discovery conversations to identify customer needs and potential growth opportunities.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding renewal or sales targets in a high-volume environment.
- Comfortable managing and executing renewals, including negotiation of relatively simple contract terms.
- Highly disciplined and efficient with your time—able to move fast while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels within customer organizations.
- Results-driven, resourceful, and motivated to contribute to team growth goals.
- Excited by technology and its ability to help customers improve their operations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
- Previous experience with fleets or in the fleet industry is a plus, but not required.
