About the role
- Drive and close new business opportunities selling Fidus products and services with government agencies, defense contractors, and aerospace clients in the region.
- Generate revenue through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or account.
- Stay up to date on ITAR regulations, compliance standards, export controls, and industry best practices.
- Leverage existing partner relationships in the industry for introductions to new contacts.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities for us to win their business.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience working with semiconductors, electronic design services, embedded software or similar industry experience.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
- Prior experience selling services in both turnkey design and outsourced staffing, for high speed, high complexity designs is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business will be considered an asset.
- Ability to successfully demonstrate the required technical competency in electronic design services or similar industries.
