About the role

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new residential and commercial roofing opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects including property managers, general contractors, real estate professionals, HOAs, and insurance contacts.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, industry associations, and community functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and referral sources.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints (in-person visits, calls, email follow-ups) to stay top-of-mind and uncover new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and production teams to ensure a positive customer experience from lead to project completion.
  • Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Help develop and execute business development strategies, campaigns, and promotions.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on pricing, service offerings, and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with the sales team to support estimates, proposals, and presentations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM.
  • Track and report on KPIs, including lead generation, meetings, proposals, and closed business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong networking skills and comfort with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Experience in roofing, construction, property management, or related industries (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the Denver/Front Range market and local business community (preferred).
  • Experience using CRM software and basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools (preferred).
