About the role
- Identify, pursue, and secure new residential and commercial roofing opportunities.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects including property managers, general contractors, real estate professionals, HOAs, and insurance contacts.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, industry associations, and community functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and referral sources.
- Conduct regular touchpoints (in-person visits, calls, email follow-ups) to stay top-of-mind and uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal sales and production teams to ensure a positive customer experience from lead to project completion.
- Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Help develop and execute business development strategies, campaigns, and promotions.
- Provide feedback to leadership on pricing, service offerings, and competitive positioning.
- Partner with the sales team to support estimates, proposals, and presentations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Track and report on KPIs, including lead generation, meetings, proposals, and closed business.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong networking skills and comfort with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Experience in roofing, construction, property management, or related industries (preferred).
- Familiarity with the Denver/Front Range market and local business community (preferred).
- Experience using CRM software and basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools (preferred).
