About the role
- Operation and development of IT security solutions (Firewall, IDS, EDR, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, WAF, Anomaly Detection)
- Evaluation of new technologies and components in the network and security domain
- Support for the Information Security Officer (ISO) on security matters
- Design, execution, coordination and implementation of IT security projects
- Implementation of continuous improvement measures for managed services
- Enforcement of IT governance and IT security policies
- Management of various security zones and security devices (DMZ, 2FA, certificates)
- Planning and segmentation of complex data systems and networks
- Handling and analysis of security-related incidents
- Creation and documentation of security processes
- Support for 2nd-level support
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT, an IT degree, or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT security
- Relevant experience administering firewall systems and network engineering
- Several years of professional experience in IT security
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Linux environments
- Good communication skills
- Interest in personal development
- Independent, self-motivated working style
- Interest in cross-team collaboration
- Knowledge of conducting and supporting audits (e.g., ISO 27001, DORA)
- Experience creating and maintaining IT security documentation
- Experience with insurance regulatory law is an advantage
- Experience with or interest in cloud infrastructures
