About the role
- Provide independent verification of clients’ compliance with accounting principles
- Conduct audit activities and report on financial statements
- Complete audit processes and document higher-risk areas
- Engage clients and provide authoritative advice
- Constantly develop understanding of market trends and share knowledge
Requirements
- Experience delivering and reporting on external audits
- Partly qualified as a chartered accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CA / ICAS / ICAEW
- Non-financial services industry exposure
- Ideally, experience in sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Retail, Transportation, etc.
- Knowledge of current market issues in the UK
- Experience using SOX 404, UK GAAP and IFRS
- Project management or team leadership experience
- Flexibility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
