About the role
- Actively shaping transactions: You will gain insights into a wide range of companies—from early-stage startups to international corporations—and be at the center of exciting deals and valuations. You will take responsibility within projects and support our clients in making important decisions.
- Building smart solutions for our clients: Together with your team you will develop clear, well-documented valuation concepts and specialist valuations. You are familiar with standards such as KFS/BW1, IVS and IFRS 13 and apply them pragmatically to create modern, efficient solutions.
- Providing decision-ready analyses: Whether Fairness Opinions, Purchase Price Allocations or the valuation of intangible assets—you ensure that complex transactions are transparent and easy to understand.
- Analytics that genuinely help: You analyze business models, markets and financial plans across all industries. For M&A projects you work closely with teams from Due Diligence, Tax, Capital & Debt Advisory and Business Modelling—real teamwork, no silos.
- Leading by example on team spirit: You enjoy sharing your knowledge, coaching colleagues and helping to create a motivating, supportive environment. This helps the team — and you — to grow.
Requirements
- Completed degree in a business-related field—whether Finance, Accounting, Controlling or general Business Administration; what matters is a solid economic foundation.
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience in areas such as M&A, valuation or financial modeling—or generally in environments where you learned to interpret complex numerical data; initial leadership experience in smaller teams or projects is a plus but not required.
- Commitment, team spirit and flexibility—you have a consulting mindset, enjoy project-based work and feel at home in interdisciplinary teams and dynamic situations.
- Strong communication skills, confident workshop moderation and the ability to motivate people—you enjoy these tasks and are good at them.
- Very good German and English skills and proficient use of Excel and PowerPoint—these equip you well for the role.
Benefits
- Structured onboarding with heart: Our onboarding package, buddy system and Welcome Day ensure you feel comfortable at EY from day one.
- Rapid professional and personal development: Grow through exciting client-facing projects in a motivated, committed team and through numerous training opportunities (e.g., Leadership Initiative, CVA).
- Top management consulting experience: Through cross-staffing you will get to know different areas at EY-Parthenon and work on varied client projects across many industries.
- EYP culture: With afterworks, all-staff events and offsite events you will quickly connect with the wider team.
- Work-life flexibility: Benefit from remote work, the option of a sabbatical and up to 20 days of workation.
- Afterworks & lounge events: Enjoy free cocktails every first Thursday of the month and “Coffee Mondays” for a great start to the week.
- Many additional benefits: Take advantage of attractive shopping discounts, a broad health and sports program and international mobility programs.
