About the role
- Spend day-to-day working on commercial issues, management on parts of the acquisition process or transformation plans
- Regularly undertake valuations for strategic priorities
- Part of the preparation of business proposals, presenting our various real estate corporate finance activities to new clients
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess land value / property value and advise clients in their investment decision
- Develop complex real estate financial models, enabling assessment of market value of various asset classes
- Perform purchase price allocations and valuation for real estate businesses in MENA
- Help monitor various real estate markets across MENA and asset classes
Requirements
- A bachelor's/Masters degree in finance, economics, accounting or business
- At least 8-10 years of related real estate corporate finance work experience
- Solution driven individual and “out-of-comfort” zone thinker with demonstrated record of solving complex problems
- Autonomous with demonstrated experience in handling and developing clients’ relationship
- Financial modelling skills including experience building models from scratch ideally with Real Estate Experience
- Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combination, impairment testing etc.
- Valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm is preferred
- Coaching experience with junior and senior staff
- Expertise in Real Estate financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GCC market dynamics and excellent business development skills
