About the role
- Deliver large-scale digital transformation programs by planning, tracking, and managing cross-functional initiatives across asset management, customer service, and technology.
- Lead maturity assessments and readiness workshops to identify current-state gaps and opportunities for improvement in customer service, data monetization, and operational excellence.
- Design enterprise-wide dashboards and performance KPIs—to enable real-time visibility and data-driven decision-making in the P&U function.
- Guide clients through energy transition initiatives, including digital utility roadmap development, grid modernization, asset optimization, and smart factory enablement via automation and digital tools.
- Manage stakeholder engagement for regulatory compliance, local content development, tariff impact assessments, and alignment with international standards across capital projects and operations.
- Develop and standardize processes, operational manuals, and governance frameworks to drive portfolio oversight, risk management, and value realization for power and utility clients.
- Drive integration projects to harmonize data, systems, and workflows (e.g., SAP, Maximo, BI dashboards), supporting scalable digital factory and centralized operating models.
- Should be a change management expert and must have experience in driving CM methodologies across the P&U environment.
- Lead performance benchmarking, business case preparation, and capital project reviews—delivering actionable insights and strategic presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Build and foster relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal teams—contributing to pipeline development, proposal writing, and energy sector-focused business development.
- Champion innovation through R&D, digital platforms, and AI-driven advanced insights—ensuring solutions are resilient, scalable, and aligned to evolving sector needs.
- Mentor and coach project team members, ensuring high-quality delivery, best practice application, and client capability uplift across all engagements.
- Support ongoing improvement by implementing automated reporting, impact assessment frameworks, and post-project reviews for sustainable organizational learning and client success.
Requirements
- 4+ years of consulting or industry experience in the Power & Utilities sector.
- Knowledge across generation, transmission technologies and distribution ecosystems.
- Demonstrated project experience in operational efficiency, policy/process development, cost reduction, digital transformation, and customer-centric solutions.
- Proven experience in business case development and grid transformation initiatives.
- Solid client engagement, stakeholder management, and communication capabilities.
- Ability to mentor teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Deep knowledge of sector trends and regulatory frameworks.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is a must, and any additional certification in Energy Systems, or MBA is preferred.
- Willing to work MENA timings and travel, as required.
