About the role
- Responsible for reviewing multi country Corporate/Group Statutory reporting process including financial statement close processes.
- Ensure meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth finalization of books, and statutory reporting.
- Prepare/Review standardized Group GAAP to Local GAAP bridging adjustments for multi-country engagements within central technology.
- Provide timely and comprehensive answers to clients’ queries.
- Challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas.
- Review financial statements and schedules prepared by the team for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct review meetings with multiple stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-6yrs of experience in statutory reporting; 1-2yrs of experience in people management role
- End to end knowledge of accounting principles (Dip in IFRS, US GAAP)
- Experience in Statutory European country GAAPs would be an added advantage
- Working Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle experience is preferred)
- CA/CPA/ACCA with overall 3 - 6 Yrs of experience
- CA pursuing/ACCA (at least 10 papers cleared) with 8 years of experience
- B.COM/M.COM with overall 5 – 9 Years of experience
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an asset.
