About the role
- Provide oversight to the I&R department and ensure that gate station and district regulators are safely maintained
- Oversee activities related to installation, maintenance and general upkeep of telemetry equipment
- Plan, manage and coordinate all operational activities within the department
- Manage and provide direction to supervisors and team leaders
- Review and approve time, vehicle, and expense reports
- Maintain working relationships with area bargaining unit leadership
- Assure compliance with regulatory code for gate stations and gas system instrumentation
- Develop, prepare and manage operating and capital budgets
- Participate in committees representing Company’s industry interests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of Ten (10) years related experience
- Strong knowledge of gas engineering, construction and maintenance policies, procedures and practices
- Knowledge of governmental codes and regulations affecting gas distribution
- Ability to work emergency storm assignments as required
- Must be available to travel between MA & CT as necessary
