About the role
- Systematically identify, research, and qualify ideal customer profiles (ICPs)
- Drive outbound prospecting efforts through modern sales channels
- Lead presentations and high-level, consultative discussions with C-suite executives
- Quarterback the entire sales process from initial contact to final contract negotiation
- Partner closely with Onboarding and Operations teams for a seamless transition
- Provide continuous feedback to leadership on market trends and pain points
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated success in an outside business development or strategic sales role
- Deep understanding of multi-modal freight management (FTL, LTL, Expedite, Intermodal & parcel)
- Proven ability to shift the conversation from transactional rate-shopping to strategic partnership and technology integration
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficient in leveraging modern sales enablement tools
