About the role
- Oversee and manage a variety of capital improvement projects for Aqua Pennsylvania’s water and wastewater systems.
- Prepare studies and reports to guide company management in planning for future system needs and improvements for both water and wastewater systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of annual capital improvement plans for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Manage a range of capital projects across both water and wastewater sectors.
- Prepare and manage permit applications for projects.
- Work closely with department heads, design drafters, consultants, construction coordinators and contractors to ensure projects are designed and implemented according to company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 5+ years of design experience, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire.
- Pennsylvania driver’s license and ability to operate Company vehicle is required.
- Proficiency in CAD software, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams).
