QA Engineer

• You test new features and bug fixes against clearly defined acceptance criteria and ensure everything is ready for release
• You test systematically, reproducibly, and with documentation — and identify when a feature isn’t yet where it should be
• You think like our users (Shopify merchants) and evaluate every implementation from their perspective
• Proactively find bugs, edge cases, and improvement opportunities
• Test our apps exploratively, with curiosity and thoroughness
• Identify bugs, anomalies, or optimization opportunities before our users encounter them
• Document test procedures and results clearly and traceably
• Report directly to the product team and work closely with our developers
• Help us live a clear QA structure — reliable, reproducible, and transparent
