About the role
- This role will assist with the development of all aspects of marketing connected with retail business, focusing on driving sales growth and margin enhancement.
- Work within defined strategies and associated tactics on an annual basis to drive business performance.
- Evaluate data such as revenue, margin, POS, inventory positions, and turns to inform strategic recommendations.
- Build knowledge of the competitive marketplace and industry to recommend pricing & promotional approaches that optimize sell-through.
- Contributes to financial and business initiatives through established rhythms and assigned projects.
- Stay focused on budgeted revenue and profitability targets and assist in developing plans to adjust as needed.
- Work in partnership with NPI leader to assist in building winning plans that leverage new product launches.
- Working closely with product and brand marketing to capitalize on new products and build plans, materials, and assets for the customer base.
- Assist with developing consumer facing marketing plans digitally and in brick and mortar.
- Develop skills to consolidate customer promotional calendars & consumer marketing calendars and ensure alignment.
- Utilize performance metrics and analytics to gauge program effectiveness and adjust future proposals.
- Assemble content from across business functions in clear, well-developed, professional, visually appealing presentations that can influence decision makers.
Requirements
- 1+ years marketing experience, including internships or academic projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create documents, presentations, and simple data reports.
- Experience working collaboratively with team members and external partners to support shared goals and deliver results.
