About the role
- Manage the full lifecycle of market abuse inquiries: triage, analysis, escalation and resolution
- Optimize surveillance scenarios: refine detection logic, perform back-testing and document changes
- Collaborate with front-office and IT teams to ensure data quality, scenario testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Conduct real-time investigations into market abuse, personal account dealings and conflicts of interest, including escalation and reporting
- Support governance and the development of market compliance standards; advise front-office and local compliance teams
Requirements
- 3+ years' professional experience in capital markets, legal or compliance
- Practical experience with market abuse surveillance tools and alert handling
- Knowledge of scenario parameterization, back-testing and performance metrics
- Strong knowledge of capital market products and relevant regulatory requirements
- Excellent English skills (German is an advantage)
