About the role

  • Develop, implement and monitor EHS policies and programs
  • Conduct risk analyses and EHS audits
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal standards
  • Provide training for employees and managers on EHS topics and safety culture
  • Create and maintain safety plans for construction sites and production areas
  • Perform hazard assessments and safety inspections
  • Analyze workplace accidents and derive prevention measures
  • Advise project teams and management on safety-related matters

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational qualification in environmental engineering, safety engineering, engineering, or a comparable field
  • Interest in EHS and occupational safety and willingness to pursue further training
  • Initial practical experience from studies or working-student positions
  • Solid knowledge in EHS management, occupational safety, or related areas
  • Experience implementing safety programs and conducting audits
  • Ability to independently manage projects and advise teams
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) or additional qualifications (SiFa, SiGeKo)
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in German and English
