Designer

• Work with engineers, project managers, and technical staff to produce design plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for residential subdivisions, master planned communities, mixed use, education, healthcare, and commercial/retail projects
• Layout and design residential subdivisions both stand alone and within master planned communities, mixed use developments, commercial/retail projects
• Design work including paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer design
• Assign final drafting/plan production to other drafters or draft/generate plans oneself
• Prepare engineering calculations in support of infrastructure design
• Review and apply design standards established by agencies involved in each project
• Work within the scope, schedule, and budget assigned to each project
• Prepare hour estimates in support of project pursuits
• Manage and mentor designers or drafters: assign work, answer questions, mentor, and check for quality and accuracy as needed
