About the role

  • Contribute to the development of restructuring programs, turnaround plans and options analyses.
  • Independently develop and take responsibility for subareas within large-scale projects, including analysis and conceptual work.
  • Prepare and validate integrated business plans and short-term liquidity forecasts.
  • Perform business and financial analyses (financial analysis of company history, root‑cause analyses, contribution-margin calculations, etc.).
  • Identify and quantify restructuring opportunities together with our experts in production, logistics, procurement, sales, finance and HR.
  • Actively participate in clients' strategic, financial and operational realignment, including support with implementation of measures.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to delivering the highest quality of work.
  • University degree in economics/business administration, preferably with a focus on finance and controlling.
  • At least two years of professional experience in finance and controlling, preferably in restructuring/transformations or in corporate/insolvency advisory.
  • Solid knowledge in finance, controlling and/or (financial) accounting.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); ideally experienced with common financial tools (e.g., LucaNet, planning software).
  • Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) and business‑fluent English.
  • High level of commitment (including willingness to travel) and an independent, self‑driven working style.
