About the role
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for a team responsible for plant operations and maintenance, and derive operational objectives in coordination with the responsible supervisor
- Ensure smooth and efficient plant operations while complying with all safety, environmental and quality standards, and coordinate activities with the Central Order Control
- Plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair measures
- Optimize operational processes and continuously improve plant availability
- Support budget planning and control and act as an interface to other departments and external service providers
- Conduct regular team briefings (team jour fixes), hold employee reviews and evaluations, and promote team members' development and motivation
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a Master Craftsman in Plant Mechanics, Master Plumber and Heating Technician, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience with gas technology according to TRGI (G600) and experience performing site manager/supervisory duties
- Professional experience in the operation and/or maintenance of technical plants
- Initial leadership experience desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confident user of MS Office and ideally experience with SAP
