About the role
- Implement quality strategies within the local supply chain by coordinating with various functions (production, purchasing where applicable, logistics).
- Monitor compliance with quality standards within production processes and support improvements to product quality.
- Review and analyze key quality indicators (KPIs), and collaborate on improving and further developing KPIs across the supply chain.
- Provide methodological and technical support to cross-functional teams in handling non-conformities and conducting root cause analyses.
- Act as an active member of the trainer team to develop the organization through training (quality standards, methods, tools, processes).
- Support certification activities (e.g. ISO 9001) and ensure that current requirements are met within production.
- Prepare reports for management and actively collaborate with the production management team on the shop floor.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of professional experience in quality management, ideally in production quality (or supply chain quality).
- Solid knowledge of quality methods and tools (e.g., FMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, PDCA).
- Experience with internal audits and supplier management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and norms (ISO, IATF, etc.).
- German language skills, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level are required.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken, at B1 level.
