About the role
- Help clients setup or convert their 401(k) plans
- Build and maintain strong advisor relationships
- Prepare proposals and service agreements
- Ensure everything is in line for New Business
- Communicate high-level plan design concepts to advisors and plan sponsors
- Meet quarterly and annual sales goals
- Maintain CRM (HubSpot)
- Follow documented sales processes follow-up in a timely and appropriate manner
Requirements
- General knowledge of mutual fund asset classes, expense ratios, and qualified plans – in particular 401(k) plans.
- Completion of ASPPA RPF1 & RPF2 exams within one year of hire.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, in a high-volume environment.
- High-level understanding of ERISA and IRS regulations and rulings for defined contribution plans.
- Undergraduate degree and at least two years of sales experience preferred.
- Must have a general understanding of mutual fund asset classes and expense ratios.
