About the role

  • Help clients setup or convert their 401(k) plans
  • Build and maintain strong advisor relationships
  • Prepare proposals and service agreements
  • Ensure everything is in line for New Business
  • Communicate high-level plan design concepts to advisors and plan sponsors
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Maintain CRM (HubSpot)
  • Follow documented sales processes follow-up in a timely and appropriate manner

Requirements

  • General knowledge of mutual fund asset classes, expense ratios, and qualified plans – in particular 401(k) plans.
  • Completion of ASPPA RPF1 & RPF2 exams within one year of hire.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, set and achieve goals, prioritize tasks, in a high-volume environment.
  • High-level understanding of ERISA and IRS regulations and rulings for defined contribution plans.
  • Undergraduate degree and at least two years of sales experience preferred.
  • Must have a general understanding of mutual fund asset classes and expense ratios.
