About the role
- Keep procurement activities aligned with internal policies and external regulations.
- Ensure proper alignment of the inbound supply chain for products and raw materials across our business units.
- Maintain, manage, and improve the item database, supplier database, and supplier library (i.e., datasheets, catalogs, profiles, etc.).
- Facilitate process improvement activities and develop policy and guidelines for Supply Chain Management.
- Provide reports that can help in developing and improving current systems in Procurement.
- Work with Strategic Procurement colleagues to support new supply sources to support existing and new product requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering-related courses.
- 2.5 years of relevant experience in Procurement or Manufacturing.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
- Knowledgeable in environmental legislation (e.g., ROHS, REACH, etc.).
- Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain and knowledge of Project Management.
- Basic understanding of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
