Keep procurement activities aligned with internal policies and external regulations.
Ensure proper alignment of the inbound supply chain for products and raw materials across our business units.
Maintain, manage, and improve the item database, supplier database, and supplier library (i.e., datasheets, catalogs, profiles, etc.).
Facilitate process improvement activities and develop policy and guidelines for Supply Chain Management.
Provide reports that can help in developing and improving current systems in Procurement.
Work with Strategic Procurement colleagues to support new supply sources to support existing and new product requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering-related courses.
2.5 years of relevant experience in Procurement or Manufacturing.
Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
Knowledgeable in environmental legislation (e.g., ROHS, REACH, etc.).
Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain and knowledge of Project Management.
Basic understanding of procurement systems and tools (ERP, MRP, SRM).
