About the role
- Develop models for calculating fully burdened cost rates
- Assist in developing budgets for a variety of functional areas
- Support finance department during external audit
- Aid in special projects for deferred revenue recognition and reporting
- Learn about the monthly close and reporting cycles
- Suggest process improvements and aid in development of new reports, dashboards, etc.
- Collaborate with finance team and participate in project work and customer interactions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university entering either their Senior and/or post-graduate year
- Pursuing a degree in Finance or Acounting
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: Completed courses in GAAP/Accounting Principles
- Preferred: Previous internship experience in a professional environment
- Preferred: Strategic mindset and self-motivated
- Preferred: Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Preferred: Innovative approach to solve problems
- Preferred: Demonstrated leadership skills such as serving in leadership role in student organization
