About the role

  • Use analytical skills, reasoning, and engineering judgment to develop new and innovative products and technologies
  • Design components including injection molded plastics, die and investment castings, stampings, machined parts, etc.
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional project teams to ensure new designs meet internal requirements and industry standards
  • Support prototype construction, laboratory testing, and agency testing during the product design cycle
  • Apply sound engineering practices to solve quality issues
  • Provide continuation engineering support for existing products
  • Interact with software, electrical, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, sales, and customers on technical matters
  • Identify and implement product and process cost reductions and improvements

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
  • Zero (0) years of related experience
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at a Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie, MN)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
