About the role

  • Support early design of electrical systems like power generation, wiring, and energy systems.
  • Help create system architecture diagrams and wiring layout drafts.
  • Assist with load analysis and power budgeting for aircraft systems.
  • Research and evaluate components (e.g. connectors, sensors, batteries).
  • Contribute to initial harness routing and integration planning.
  • Collaborate with structures and systems teams to ensure proper placement and compatibility.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Generation or Energy Systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical power generation and distribution concepts.
  • Familiar with aircraft electrical architectures or eager to learn about aerospace-specific power systems.
  • Basic experience with power flow analysis, load balancing, or system-level simulations (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM).
  • Exposure to electrical schematics and system modeling tools.
  • Interest in technologies like high-voltage DC systems, electric propulsion, or energy storage.
