Data Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and store structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize data models, databases, and data warehouses for analytical and operational use.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy scalable and secure data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with government security, privacy, and data governance standards (NIST, FedRAMP, HIPAA if applicable).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Assist in the evaluation and integration of new data technologies and tools.
