About the role
- Develop, plan and lead regional logistics and distribution strategy in alignment with growth plans
- Direct team members and/or provide direction to matrix teams in executing distribution network design and plans
- Develop and lead the implementation of network-wide strategies to ensure business continuity
- Establish strong partnership and act as liaison between stakeholders
- Responsible for driving performance improvements in the key indicators for distribution and optimization of operations
- Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Related experience in planning, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and/or materials management
- Certification in related field (e.g., CTLD, APICS) Preferred
- Experience with Six Sigma and lean principles
- Demonstrated track record in people management Required
- Proven successful project management leadership skills
- Proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including JDE, Advanced Planning Systems working with Demand Flow methodology
- Proven expertise in warehouse and distribution technologies (e.g., RFID, WMS, Bar Coding)
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
- Expert understanding of global supply chain logistic and distribution methods, modes, third party dependencies and principles
