About the role
- Guide preparation of annual operating plan, intra-year forecasts and multi-year strategic plans.
- Drive continuous enhancement of reporting strategy including definition of key performance indicators and data sources.
- Lead all monthly and intra-month internal and external reporting of financial data.
- Analyze customer and market data to shape financial decision-making around pricing.
- Direct and oversee all accounting functions ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver timely financial reporting producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage financial operations across multiple entities synthesizing data into cohesive reports.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proven analytical skills with ability to quickly dissect business issues and develop course recommendations.
- Polished presentation skills to present complex issues to executive team in a meaningful way.
- Prior experience working in private equity, consulting or other fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience developing data analysis and business metrics.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting standards, and healthcare-specific compliance regulations.
- Strong project management skills for process improvements and implementing new systems.
