About the role
- Record journal entries for activity and transactions related to assigned accounts
- Prepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Support month-end close for international entities
- Support technical GAAP analysis of new company initiatives and transactions
- Assist with audit requests by preparing supporting documentation and schedules
- Assist with Monthly, quarterly and annual Financial and Bank Compliance Reporting
- Perform analytical reviews, focusing on compensation and benefits expenses
- Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams on accounting matters
- Support software and project initiatives by providing recommendations
- Build and present ad-hoc reports to support monthly analyses
- Support fixed asset monthly and quarterly close activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls around month end close
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting required; 1-2 years with an audit firm preferred
- CPA preferred
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with Oracle ERP preferred
- Strong accounting, reconciliation, and analytic skills, especially in compensation and benefits areas
- Proficient in MS Excel.
