About the role
- Drive cross functional process improvement initiatives
- Own the end-to-end release cycle management (planning, execution, communications)
- Identify pain areas and work on improvements in Release Management
- Product Board SME
- Create and manage release plans for major and dot releases
- Create and manage release metrics, review with stakeholders, and request improvements
- Create and maintain release milestones
- Provide release updates to all required stakeholders
- Create and maintain releases in JIRA system
- Create and maintain release notes dashboard / update release feature updates
- Work with Sales, Data Management Teams, and schedule internal URL upgrades
- Provide project management support to the product scrum teams
- Help create self-organized teams that drive continuous improvement to our systems
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
- 7+ years of project management experience related to technology preferred
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
- Strong phone, written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills
- Confident, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player
- Well-organized, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Experience with delivering software projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous environment and meet tight deadlines
