About the role
- Develop, implement and update security protocols
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to design secure system and infrastructure architecture aligned with organizational goals
- Evaluate, configure, and lead deployment of cybersecurity solutions, providing oversight and SME guidance for all technologies that impact security posture
- Lead incident response and event investigation by troubleshooting complex security and infrastructure issues providing technical expertise to resolve vulnerabilities and prevent future incidents
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to embed security into the software lifecycle (DevSecOps) and CI/CD pipeline
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in cybersecurity engineer roles
- Proven experience in incident response, threat intelligence and digital forensics
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint security configurations
- Experience with cloud security and application security
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST and SOC2
