About the role

  • To handle in your own right a defendant personal injury caseload
  • Drafting court documents
  • Attending court hearings
  • Conducting liability investigations
  • Gathering evidence
  • Preparing advice to clients
  • Identifying medical experts and preparing instructions
  • Reviewing medical records and other case related documents
  • Providing the highest level of client care at all time

Requirements

  • A qualified Solicitor or equivalent
  • Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a litigated, defendant Casualty caseload including EL/PL, Occupational Health or Disease
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data
  • Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
