About the role
- Install and Administer Hypervisor, VMware ESXi, VxRail, VMware Horizon, vRealize Operations + Automation, NSX, vSphere and vCenter
- Configuration and troubleshooting storage replication
- Analyzing the vCenter, ESXi and VMs Logs to find root cause
- Host Rebuild and VMware vCenter Rebuild with security baselines applied
- Ensure proper communication between rebuilt vSphere hosts and vCenter for centralized management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience system administration in a multi-vendor environment
- 3+ years of experience with server implementation, virtualization, and Microsoft Active Directory administration
- Knowledge of backup solution of one of the following: Veeam, Avamar, and Isilon
- Intermediate level of experience with storage including the basics like block & file storage, and more advanced concepts such as iSCSI IQN/iSNS and/or fiber channel zoning and SAN administration
- 3+ years of experience with a VMware-centric backup solution; Veeam preferred.
