About the role
- Provide basic assistance to Senior Field Representatives at regional off-site fuel cell powerplant global locations
- Provide hands-on support of maintenance and repair services on-site for fuel cell installations
- Participate in the commissioning of new fuel cells at new sites
- Support troubleshooting, testing and repair activities on existing fuel cell installations
- Perform controlled troubleshooting and repairs on fuel cells installed at customer sites
- Collaborate with others to support the commissioning of new fuel cell installations
- Perform service and troubleshooting on ancillary equipment used for overall fuel cell operation
- Understand the principles of large distribution switchgear 480-volt systems
- Understand mechanical and electrical componentry, plumbing and systems operation
- Complete all assigned reports prior to leaving customer site
- Provision and maintenance of accurate product service histories
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of hands-on experience servicing/troubleshooting products containing a variety of components
- AA/AS with 0-2+ years of experience, as noted above
- Electrical/HVAC trade school certification
- E1/E2 or P1/P2 license preferred
- Highly directed customer focus
- Trades training and experience
- Dependable off-site customer support work experience
