Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications and associated Unisys OS 2200 system components.
• Analyze existing code and implement schema changes, record layout updates, and new data elements to meet evolving business or regulatory requirements.
• Perform system integration and acceptance testing for mainframe applications and related interfaces.
• Support the development lifecycle from requirements analysis through production deployment.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects or performance issues in complex COBOL codebases.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning and code reviews; contribute to configuration management and DevSecOps activities.
• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and configuration management personnel to ensure software quality and schedule adherence.
• Maintain system and technical documentation, version control, and compliance with enterprise quality standards.
