About the role
- Preparation and processing of care home billing and maintenance of resident records
- Account assignment and posting of invoices, bank documents and ongoing business transactions
- Management of the cash desk and cash holdings, including cash handling and reconciliations
- Correspondence and administrative tasks such as contract management, documentation, filing and telephone switchboard duties
- Support for the facility management in organizational and administrative matters, including interface work with care staff, relatives and external agencies
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a commercial or financial/accounting field
- Ideally, initial experience in administration and accounting
- Reliability, motivation and strong organizational skills
- Ability to act independently and to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Enjoyment in creatively shaping the working environment
- Respectful and appreciative attitude towards elderly, care-dependent people
- Values such as charity, compassion and fairness are important
