About the role
- Lead the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of our payments platform.
- Oversee a team of engineers and technical leads responsible for building scalable payment systems.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and global data-protection standards.
- Mentor and grow technical leaders and senior engineers across LATAM.
- Collaborate with Product to align technical priorities with business objectives.
- Implement best practices in reliability, observability, CI/CD, and cloud scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ in leadership roles.
- Proven track record building and scaling payment or fintech platforms.
- Strong expertise in backend development (Node.js, Java, Go) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of payment orchestration, tokenization, 3DS, and settlement.
- Experience leading distributed teams and managing complex integrations.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
