About the role
- Perform MIC platform administration activities (e.g., shutting down and starting servers, verifying automated system operations, managing access groups, maintaining backup units, and recovering files).
- Perform basic network tasks (e.g., resetting passwords, configuring new users, and conducting routine maintenance procedures).
- Manage computer hardware and technology systems and equipment (e.g., desktops and laptops, printers, telephone systems, office phones, mobile devices, and alarm systems).
- Produce and submit reports on issues encountered and perform necessary follow-up actions.
- Compile various statistics and other data related to adherence to service standards.
- Notify the Help Desk Services team of required changes to computer equipment, as needed.
- Perform activities related to systems and technological equipment (e.g., activation, configuration, maintenance, and repair).
- Analyze equipment needs, recommend solutions and acquisition/disposal procedures, and perform related follow-up activities.
- Serve as an IT and technology resource for users.
- Support users in optimizing their use of systems and equipment, resolve and recommend solutions for issues encountered, escalate more complex problems, and follow up as needed.
- Develop and propose basic training activities for users of computer systems and technology equipment.
- Participate in planning and implementing tasks required for desktop system deployments and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and recommendations regarding computer security.
- Oversee activities related to the flow of technical information necessary for smooth platform operation.
- Manage and update web and platform applications, user profiles, standardized groups, and user IDs.
- Manage licenses for various applications (e.g., PALTrak network, Expert module) and track associated costs.
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
